BARBARA ROSS is my great great paternal grandmother and her ancestral lineage represents a gaping hole in a rather fully documented family tree. Ialso know that after her premature death , Jacob Friedrick Thumm returned to Economy PA and took Katharina Pfund for his second wife m25Feb1875 Rochester PA (Deutches Ev Lutheran ST Paul Church). I own a cross stitch sampler tapestry that includes at the base of the piece: 0ECONOMIE DENISMERZ1862 In the center of the work is included the initials B R and what resembles a family crest with various Pennslyvania Dutch symbols( tree with acorns, peacock, other birds, etc).
