Pfaffendorf belongs to the parish of Pfarrweisach today, and to the bishopric of Wuerzburg. There are many records microfilmed in Wuerzburg, but as far as I know, the books of this region are only available in the parish. So better you send a letter directly to Pfarrweisach-Pfaffendorf. My G-Grandfather George JACOB was born there in 1874.He is the son of George JACOB and Margaret RITTWEGER. He came to the United States about 1899.
