I am researching Jacob DORFNER and his wife Ann OEHMER DORFNER. They were from a village called Ries in Bayern. I have tracked down Ries to be swallowed up by the city of now present Passau on the Danube river, in Niederbayern, Bavaria. I am looking for church records on this couple or any information as I will be traveling to Germany in July. They immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin around 1840 - 1850.
