Seems that there are quite a few new members to the list (including myself not so long ago), so I thought I would repeat some good instructions that were previously posted by Larry Wing on 14 JAN 2000. Codes for typing a letter with an umlaut: (while holding down the Alt key, type the indicated numbers from the numerical keypad on your keyboard) Ä 0196 Ö 0214 Ë 0203 ä 0228 ö 0246 ü 0252 ë 0235 As a side note, if anyone knows how to type that "double s" thingy <g>, I'd love to get the instruction!
