Susan....In the (below) snipped portion of your posting of More Extractions from St. Joseph's Catholic Church the name Magdelena SIMON is of interest to me (although to the best of my knowledge my SIMON interests were not Catholic). I am having much difficulty in locating where in U.S. my ggrandfather ...Phil(l)ip SIMON and family first arrived. Family tradition is that he came from Hof, Bavaria abt. 1886 but I have not been able to confirm this. I have not been able to find his name on any ship's passenger list yet....but I am still searching. Do you have any info on Magdelena SIMON that may give me any leads.
