Hi again, A friend of mine from another list clued me in to a terrific search utility called "Copernic". Copernic uses 15 search engines to search SIMULTANEOUSLY for any given topic entered. One very useful feature of Copernic is that when you download the free version, you are given the option of choosing an additional search ability for websites in various foreign languages. German is available. So, you can choose to search the web, or you can also choose to search the web in German. If you come across something in German which you are unable to read, simply "copy and paste" the URL and take it to << AltaVista Translations >> at: http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/ Altavista can translate (for free) websites or even text that you type in yourself. Another useful feature of Copernic is that it saves the history of your various searches until you delete, thus making it easy to go back and find what you searched and found for, say, yesterday or a month ago. To get Copernic, go to: Copernic - The Smart Software to Search the Web! OR (if the link doesn't work for you) <<http://www.copernic.com/>> Once there, click on "Free-Download Now!" for Copernic 2000, and then follow all of the resulting instructions and choices. Good luck, Joanne
