Would like to hear from anyone researching the surnames DINKEL and BRUNNENMEYER of Burk, Kreis Ansbach. Anna Marie DINKEL, daughter of a stock raiser in Friedrichstal married George Adam BRUNNENMEYER 2 Aug 1840. They had a son John Christian, born 5 May 1841. George Adam died 1 May 1842. His widow and son emmigrated to Illinois in 1852 but I can not find them on the 1860 census. I believe she may have remarried during that ten year period and came under another name.
