Hello all, There have recently been an uncommonly number of questions concerning the location of towns in Bavaria. Here is a good piece of advice when searching for towns in Germany or elsewhere in central and eastern Europe. Go to the Shtetlseeker at the following address: http://www.jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/loctown.htm Put in the town name and select Germany. You will see a listing of similar-sounding or spelling of the town you gave. You also receive the coordinates for the location of those towns. Click on a likely name and you will find yourself on Mapquest with a map showing a red star for the location of the town requested. You can narrow map down to find the town if it is not immediately apparent. Sometimes the town is too small for an actual name on the map but the red star shows you where the town is located. This is a site to bookmark. I have used it hundreds of times. Very useful.
