Hello All, I am new to this list as well to Geneology. I am researching the Hauenstien Name. John and Catherine (Hacker) Hauenstien. They came to America From Bavaria somewhere around 1850. Unfortunelty their Naturalization records only give Bavaria for the place they came from. If anyone has any information on this please email me and let me know. Also if you could lead me in the right direction on how to research this I would be grateful. I am new to this and don't know where to find things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
