I wrote to the U.S. Department of State, 2201 "C" Street, Washington, D .C . 20520 gave them all the pertinent info re when he arrived from Germany, when he applied for citizenship, etc. The DOS replied 26 days later and told me to write to: The Diplomatic Branch The National Archives and Records Administration Washington, D .C. 20408 27 days later, I received a copy of the document with his biog. info and birthplace. Now, there may be a quicker way to do this on the net, but I don't know how to request it from the Archives. Perhaps some kind-hearted person who does can help. Good Luck! Bernard
