Dear Kathy, the german version of the Family Tree Maker from Parsons Technology Inc. is exactly called "Parsons Ahnenforscher V.xx", even "Fowin". Copyright is from FormalSoft, Inc. I tried to get in contact with them in Germany, what the telephone number I have in this program is wrong (someone is answering who has no idea about it). If someone knows how to get in contact with this persons to get infos about updates etc., could he/she inform me as well about this? Unfortunately I do not know anything about the costs... Kathy, maybe you could contact Parsons and find the informations out for us (Price and Contacts in Germany)? Probably it could be bought in some big stores such as Kaufhof, Saturn Hansa...
