I am new to this list and am looking for assistance in clarifying an address. I have an envelope that was sent to my mother about 1984 from a cousin of her mother. The return address on the envelope is shown as "Abs. Brunnhildis ANGERMULLER, Schwesternheim 8317 Mengkofen bei Dingolfing, Bayern Deutschland, Europa" . I would appreciate assistance in establishing if my interpreation is correct as I think that she was in Mengkofen near Dingolfing. I believe that at the time the cousin, who was very elderly was a Sister in a Catholic Convent, and would almost have certainly died by now. I would also like to contact the convent to see what happened to her and also to see if they can provide me with any information regarding her family or next of kin as all contact with my grandmother's family, that remained in Germany, has been lost.
