Hello List, I am new to the Bavaria list. My great grandparents came from the Black Forest. I do not know exactly what town. My ggrandfather, William Hug, was probably born around 1864 and I think he sailed for America around 1878. Does anyone have a suggestion for a point of departure? What port may have been most frequently used by those in Southern Germany? Thanks, Annie
