I am researching the town of Hachenburg, Germany. I am trying to find out the history of this town. My gmother was a Hackenberg. Her family was Prince Peter Hachenberg from this area, and also King Wilhelmo Hachenberg from Vienna. Johann Peter Hachenberg came to USA. His brother stayed and inherited the estate and title.
