    1. [BAVARIA] HINDERLEITNER
    2. I am looking for any HINDERLEITNER-HINDERLITER families still residing in Bavaria. My line goes back to that family living in HOFREITH (Hofkirchen Parish) Bavaria in 1642, then moving to DIETFURT, Bavaria about 1699. The family lived in Dietfurt until leaving for Philadelphia in 1738. Johan Caspar Hinderleitner married Maria KLAUSSECKHER in 1672 in Dietfurt. I understand there are three towns named Dietfurt but I do not know which one the Hinderleitners lived in. Any ideas on locating this family that remained in Bavaria will be greatly appreciated. 3. Dear List I'm looking for leads on my ZEIDLER relatives. John and Lorenzo Zeidler immigrated to Scranton, Pa in 1840s. According to US census records they were born in Bavaria. Recently, I noticed a LDS record for Johann Friedrich August ZEIDLER b. 12 March 1827, from Reppis, Dresden, Sachsen. This would make him old enough to be the father of John and Lorenzo. Do you think there is a connection? ron bechtold BAVARIA-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > Subject: > > BAVARIA-D Digest Volume 00 : Issue 63 > > Today's Topics: > #1 [BAVARIA] Reubel's in Bavaria ["christensen" <rcchris@email.msn.c] > #2 Re: [BAVARIA] Wilfershausen (Bavar [Neuner family <htneuner@bene-onlin] > #3 [BAVARIA] Professional genealogist ["Tanja Preusse" <hartingert@yahoo.] > #4 [BAVARIA] WEISMAN/WISEMAN/WEISSMAN [Susan Nokes <snokes@tscnet.com>] > #5 Re: [BAVARIA] Reubel's in Bavaria ["Nancy V. 1. [BAVARIA] professional research
    2. Marjorie Watts
    3. Hello list, To those who are looking for a researcher, I highly recommend: Sabine Schleichert German Genealogical Research Service sabine@ggrs.com http://www.ggrs.com Mrs. Schleichert lives in Munich. By education and training, she is a historian (who devotes her time to her family and research). She reads the 'old' German. I employed Ms. Schleichert in June, 1999 to help me research my maternal grandmother's family line. She traveled to Illschwang. met me at my grandmother's parish and, in searching the records for four-plus hours, uncovered more information than I could have in four months. There's more to the story, a 'chance' meeting of a relative and a visit to two homes. Sabine spent the entire day with me before she boarded the train back to Munich. She charged $350.00 travel and research. I paid by credit card at the end of the day. She promptly e-mailed a gedcom file to me with the information and followed up by writing the village of my grandmother's birth and mailing me a certified copy of this registration (at no extra charge). She's very professional and she's a nice person. Marge

    1. [BAVARIA] Fw: [PRUSSIA] Prussian Genealogists
    2. Tanja Preusse
    3. I am sometimes hirering a professional genealogist for Bavaria. But from my point of view and from my exprience they should never get more than 40 to 60 DM (20 to 30 $) per hour + travel expenses. Sometimes I can even understand that someone who do not know you for the first steps would like to have a deposit, but you should never pay more as deposit than two hours!!! And it is not very usual to pay a deposit. It is not very nice to hear that they are companies treating the people like this and making that much profit on. It would be very nice when everyone who had good experiences with someone to get the addresses to all of us or to the webmasters of the most used pages so that they will be stored. Could we organize such a thing? Regards Tanja -----Original Message----- From: Jane Teschke <jategen@means.net> To: PRUSSIA-ROOTS-L@rootsweb.com <PRUSSIA-ROOTS-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Samstag, 12.
