HI, I am searching for information about the parents, grandparents, and siblings of my great X 3 grandmother, Lucinda ( Lucy) BAUGHMAN. Lucy was born 31 Jan 1818 in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA. Her parents were John and Barbara Baughman of Hempfield Twp. I do not know Barbara's maiden name. Lucy married Joseph SMITH 05 Feb 1835. Joseph was born 08 Nov 1814 in Hempfield Twp. and died 24 April 1902 in Hempfield Twp. He was the son of Daniel and Susan HENRY SMITH of Hempfield Twp. Lucy died 28 Jan 1891 in Hempfield Twp. and is buried in (Harrold's) St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hempfield Twp. Lucy and Joseph SMITH owned a farm on Cribb's Station Road. They had seven children: David, Ellen, Lewis, Henry, John, Susan, and Rueban. Any information about Lucy's BAUGHMAN family will be greatly appreciated.
