Hi everyone - I am trying to research my direct lineage and am stuck on William Uriah Balkman. A record shows that his name may have been changed from Baughman or perhaps Bauchman or even Baukman. He was born in 1809 in South Carolina and married Sarah E. or A. abt 1838. He died 25 Feb 1891 in Carroll County, Georgia. His children all used the Balkman name. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
