I also had that he is buried in Wayne Co. rather then Stark, but my information could be wrong. He was the oldest son of Abraham Bachman/Baughman (who settled in Richland Co., OH). Baughman Twp in Wayne County was named after him. Isaac and Mary were children of John and wife Elizabeth Weygandt, not sure who Geo Lee and R might be.

    3. Mary Layman's parents are Benjamin Layman and Barbara Baughman. The Laymans lived next to our Baughmans in PA and moved to VA with them. We have not yet found the connection to Barbara Baughman Layman's Baughman line and Henry Baughman Jr's. Barbara's father was named John. My John Baughman (gggrandfa) was supposedly born in Cumberland Co. , Pa , date ukn, and died before 9/1819 in Allentownship, Pa. Children:1. George b. 8/15/1809, Yellow Breeches Creek, Susquehanna Valley, Pa. m. Mary Jane Greer , 9/8/1835 in Baltimore Md and then moved to Richmond, Va. in 1856. 2. Elizabeth dates ukn, married Ephriam Neff Musser. 3. Christoopher C. b.1812 d. 1888, m. Maria Louise Herbst , moved to Salem , Va. then back to Philadelphia , then to Tamaqua, Pa. I have info on George (myggrandfa.) and names of children of Elizabeth and Chistopher. Am most interested in verifying an obtaining more info on John and Barbara, as there are so many John Baughmans in the early census in Pa..also any info on decendants of Elizabeth and Chistopher.
