Hi cousins, You've heard the expression, "If you talk the talk, be ready to walk the walk"??? Well, I talked the talk and now, I'll walk the walk. :) I did some digging and found a few of our first immigrants. I'll keep going through what I have here along with some Web searching, but I hope you'll all do the same as well. The more of us working on this project the better our chances of digging those immigrants out and putting them on a table where we can examine their generations. If you are going to participate in this thread, PLEASE leave your subject line as FIRST 'B' IMMIGRANTS. There are some cousins that won't have anything to add, particularly our newbies, and we do want to flag those messages with immigrants in them. I, for one, receive over 400 e-mails a day. I want to make sure I don't miss a single message! ... and I'm sure there are other who will feel the same. There aren't many today, but it's a start! :) Once we get five or six ancestors per research group, we need to start digging for their children, see where they moved and who their kids were...yada yada ...and so on through the generations toward the present. Any messages regarding this thread should be posted back to the list so we can ALL see the material and discuss it. I hope you're all having a majestically magical Monday! :) Colleen
