Hello, I am new to the list and am researching my Bauer ancestor and his descendants from Berks Co. PA: Peter Bauer, son of Michael and Maria Margareth (Steinbrenner) Bauer, born 1771 died Jan 14, 1836, married Rosina Schnabel, daughter of Andrew and Evan Schnabel, born about Nov. 5, 1770, died Nov 30, 1845 in Berks Co. PA. Peter and Rosina Bauer are buried at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally, Berks Co. PA and were of the Catholic faith. Peter Bauer and Rosina Schnabel had about 15 children, all baptized in the Catholic Church, Agidus Michael Bauer married Magdalen Eck, Johannes Jacob Bauer married Juliana Kuhns (my ancestors), Mary Bauer married Joseph Eck and moved to Lycoming Co. PA, Catharine Bauer married Paul Kuhns and moved to Ohio, Peter Bauer married Maria/Polly Kline, Anna Bauer married Joseph Clemmer/Klemmer, David Bauer married Polly Kehl/Carr, Rosina Bauer, Samuel M. Bauer married Marian Covely, Madeline Elisabeth Bauer, Henry Bauer married Elisabeth Walker, Reuben Bauer, Nathan Bauer, and Jonathan Joseph Bauer.
