What are the dates for William. Ihave a William in my line born in S. C. in 1805, but know nothing else.

A. G. Baty was also my grgr grandfather. I am from his son Wiley grishem, b. 1867 d.1953 and his son, my grandfather James Sampson Baty 1896-1953. They all lived and are buried in SW Missouri. A. G. homesteaded a farm in eastern Christian co in the early 1870's and is listed on the 1870 Christian co census.

My great-great grandfather was A.G. Baty he was born in 1830, married to Martha Sandlin born in 1835. They had 6 children all of them boys.

Batey married 12-28-1897 to Martha Jane Morris b.7-28-1869 b.5-1-1874 d.3-4-1945 d.8-23-1972 they resided in the Lascassas area of Tennessee both are buried in Bradley's Creek Church Cemetery Their children were:Frank,Rosie,Mary,Frances,William,Curtis,Maple,Jack Ray, and James. 2) Mary Elizabeth Batey-I have no info on her other then she had 1 known child Elmo Clifton Batey. To return to the children of John D. Batey: Mary Elizabeth married Henery Dewey Jennings 12-23-1925 and Mary was a native of Wilson county TN Frank died single in Rutherford county Tn and was a lifelong resident of Lascassas Tn community also known by the nickname of Coogie. Rosie Mae married William E. Rhodes and resided in the Lascassas Tn area one known child who died an infant in 1958. Frances married Percey Hall and they resided in the Cainsville area of Wilson county TN she died 8-16-1980 William I have no info on him Curtis-I know nothing of him but that he was in the Navy in 1945 Maple Batey married a Johnson and resided in Nashville Tn Jack Ray died in 1966 and is survived by one daughter Delores I believe he died of gunshot but there is no other info.
