Have you had any success tracing James and Ruth Bateson from Perry County? I know their were two James and Ruth Bateson's there in the same time frame, but one James is from Maryland (a wagonmaker) and married Ruth Hoops. That is not the James and Ruth I've been looking for. Hopefully, someone has discovered something about this couple by now.
