Unfortunately, "my" Martha was Martha Ann born 1854 and emigrated to Australia for the rest of her life in 1877. Notwithstanding that, could be connected through other Batesons if your line originally from Yorkshire. Her parents were John Bateson & Ann Barker-Thompson.
