My grandfather's brother was Nicholas John Fitzgerald. He was born in Wausau, Marathon County, Wisconsin on 22 Oct 1878. He left Wausau about 1912 after the death of his first wife after which he had no further contact with his family. WW! registration reveals that he lived in Monroe, Michigan, the same year that he married Laura Bateson. Nick's niece is 90 years old and wants to know more about his life after leaving Wausau. Since DeEsta was very young at the time of her mother's remarriage, you may have information about Nick. We would be delighted to see pictures.
