Hi Heather-- I don't have any information on Oliver or Lucy Bates. But I do have a missing Bates from Saybrook, Conn. at about the same time. Elizabeth Bates married James Warner of Saybrook (1736-1812). She died 1807 in Cambridge, New York. I have nothing more on her. Lots more on the Warner family on my web page.
