Most of you in America are very dedicated to go back as far as possible but you all seem to stop at the Port of Exit from the UK when your forebares got on the ship and sailed off into the sunset (USA) from the Mayflower onwards. A few of us are determined to fit THOMAS BATES d 1606, who was involved in the Gunpowder Plot of 1606 into his family tree and find once and for all his descendants to the present day.
