Hello Everyone, This is probably a long shot but I am going to try. I am looking for anyone who may have information on my gr-grandmother. Her name was Evelyn Bates. She was born in Alpena, Michigan. She married Fred LaForge on July 9, 1918 in Alpena. I know that she and my gr-grandfather were divorced in Los Angeles County in 1933. Evelyn's residence at the time of the divorce was Long Beach, CA. I would appreciate any information anyone may have as my grandmother, their daughter, was put up for adoption in 1925.
