My Fielding Bates --parents names were: 1.William Baits ( Bates) married Candace Jace/Jacy in Franklin Co, Ga children: Fielding ( Fielder) William Martha James Fielding Bates married Mattie/Martha A. ( not sure of her last name) Children: J W ( John) Minnie Gussie Lee Hal A James P.E. Also I have Fielding born 18 July 1846 and have his records serving in the Civil War. Thanks Vickie Bates
