I am a novice at this and could use alittle help. I have borrowed the first 5 years of the Bates booster ( I had to start somewhere). We are supposed to be from John Bates 1598. Could someone please tell me who Benjamin bates was, he ran a school for boys in Hanover Co.? And is Thomas Bates in the 1810, 20. 30, 40 & 50 census of Wayne Co. Ky the son of Fleming Bates? This will help me try to put these people in alittle order-------maybe. Thanks for your help. Eva
