In the 1850 Tenn. Census, Bradley Co., Mary Bates is listed as head of Household. She was born in Ga. Her children were: Joseph 24 b. Tn. Emeline 22 Martha 18 Jackson 14 Sterling 12 Catharine 11 Margarett 8 I am looking for Joseph W. Bates b. abt 1829 in Tn. I would like to know if anyone knows the middle name of Mary's Joseph.
