My grandfather was abandoned in a childrens home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in late 1890's. He was born March 15, 1890. His brother was also left at that time. We believe his father was John Bates...worked for the railroad, mother was Frances...the family seems to originate in the Boston area. Can you help me find anything on Delos W.
