Seeking ANY information on Sara Bates. We know only that she married Milton Marion Duke and they had a son, Louis Milton Duke, b. 1874 in Bloomington, IL, d. 1966 in Gary, IN. Louis married Myrtle May McCune. Family history says that Milton was the engineer of O&M Railroads Engine #104 on 1/6/1877 when an accident occurred in which he was killed - believe this was in MI, that he lived in Silver Lake, MI, at the time.
