I am looking for Benjamin Bates who lived in Tennessee; was born between 1810 and 1830; married Rebecca (Morgan?) and moved to DeKalb County, Alabama. One of their children was Fannie Bates, my gggrandmother, who married Samuel Denton in DeKalb County and then moved to Winston County, AL. Any info. I haven't been able to find Benjamin Bates' parents yet.
