I am looking for information on John Wilford Baytes. He spelled his name with a y but his son Leonard dropped the y and now his descendants spell it Bates. John married Callie Brown and their births were John 1860-1936 and Callie 1863-1927 they had children named Carl, Roy, Raymond, Mamie, Jessie, Edna,Essie and Leonard. They lived in the Lincoln County, Tennessee area. Any info you might have on them would be greatly appreciated.
