I'm tryin to find an A.C. BATES born ca 1770 in UNKNOWN....I know he married Fannie Elizabeth Bray 22 Oct 1895 in Tishomingo Co. MS....family says that he was killed in an iron works explosion in south TN....This was before 1905 because Fannie remarried in 1905........Was A.C. part NA? I know Fannie is Cherokee and I can't FIND anything at all about him...Seems like after the marriage record they just fell off the earth, or hid.....In Fannie's 2nd marriage(to my great grandfather) they had to live on "Catholic Hill" where she was passed off as "Italian Catholic"... I hope someone knows something about this A.C. BATES. Thank you, Lexy
