I am fairly new to this list and wanted to get aquainted. I am looking for any info on Margaret Bates married Paine Johnson. They were in Pike Co, KY Margaret was a sister to Martin Van Buren Bates who was, for many many years, in the Guiness Book of Records as the Tallest Man in the World. They were the children of John Wallas Bates and Sarah. That is all I know. I would appreciate any info anyone may have.
