I have some information that I am passing along in hopes that some one may connect with me. Joseph Bates was a farmer from VT. He married Malinda Webster.She is buried in E. Roxbury,VT. They had George Dennison Bates b. 6/14/1841. He married Lucy E.Perry. They had 2 sons Lester George Bates b.5/12/1872 in Northfield and d.3/3/1934 and Ernest L. Bates b.2/14/1875and d. 8/15/1928. Lester George married Myrtle Emma Robberts b.7/30/1882 and d. 12/23/1973. They had 3 girls.Lenore Helen and Lucy E. are twins. b.2/8/1922. Muriel Elizabeth b.5/10/1923. Lenore Helen married Robert Gustavus Pennington b.6/19/1922. They had a son Carl Bates b. 2/15/52. Now George Dennison got remarried to Lilla L. Jackson b.1860 and d. abt.1934. They had 5 children. Belle b. 11/27/1882, Abbie May b. 6/9/1887, Gladys Winferd b. 3/1/1889, Irl Smith b. 10/19/1893 and Leo Newton b. 7/13/1898. George married again to a Clara Whitear and they had Ettie E.
