I don't recognize any of the names mentioned but I feel that some of the people we are researching came from the same community. My Sara Bates m John S. Carson 10 May 1810 in Baldwin Co, AL. Their son, Nathan Franklin Carson m Amanda Roe Curtis. Amanda's paternal grandmother was Sarah Hicks who was b 10 Nov 1757 in Sussex Co, VA and d 12 Sept 1810 in Washington Co, AL. Sarah Hicks m Samuel R. Curtis c 1778 in Sussex Co, VA. He was b 18 Jan 1751 in NC and d 24 Jan 1846 in Marengo Co, AL. Is there something here or just coincidence?
