He married Miss Frances Kirk on May 20, 1837 in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. Throughout the 1840-50s they had children: Abigail, Susanne, Mary , George, John, Edward, and Hugh throughout the 1840s and 1850s. They were Wesleyan Methodists. Apparently, Moses killed someone and was told to move to another area. He died in 1863 in East Nissouri, Ontario, Canada and was senile. Most of his children moved to Michigan (Ubly, Gagetown,Burleigh) and married. When Moses died, Frances moved to Ubly and many are laid to rest at Valley Cemetery there. I know there are several families that married Baskins such as: Hurford, Robinson, and Morris families. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.
