William Baskin of Abbeville, SC. I've done a lot of research on my line, I have the Bell book, and I'm currently compiling a book for a family reunion next year. If you know of the Ireland connection for this family, I'd love to see your evidence. I've been unable to find any record that directly states that the family is from Ireland and/or where in Ireland - all circumstantial evidence so far. Bell doesn't indicate why/how he came to his conclusions on this subject either. If anyone out there has more evidence, I'm sure we'd all appreciate seeing it!
