Samuel was born in Virginia about 1806 and later married a Jane Gallager from Pennsylvania. Samuel had a son Robert Anderson Barton born 3 July 1861 in Dayton Township, Iowa County, Iowa. Robert married a Mary Agnes Leonard in 1983 and had a son Everett Ewing in August, 1886 in Curtis Nebraska. Any help you can offer would be appreciated Ken Barton at: bartonfam@earthlink.ne
