I know lots about this family. Actually it is one of the oldest and best researched of the Barton lines. Benjamin was the direct descendent of Rufus Barton who came in to the new world to what is now New York via Holland (he was a quaker) with a couple of brothers. Rufus ended up in Rhode Island where he signed the charter creating the area known as Warwick. I will be glad to give you more names and dates if you need them. Best always Lea
