I am doing research on my Barton line. The known information first starts with Nancy Barton, who was born prior to 1780 and married ___? Crawford. They were living in KY when one of their children was born in 1799. They had one known son, Thomas Barton Crawford who was born 10 Nov 1799 in KY. Thomas Barton Crawford married Margaret Poe, 1827 in Clark county, Ohio. Thomas Barton Crawford, migrated to Auglaize county, Ohio and died there on 23 Sep 1859. Supposely, according to family oral history, Thomas Barton Crawford, came with his mother Nancy Barton Crawford and his father ---- Crawford along with a James Galloway and settled near Xenia Ohio. The Galloway family was connected to Nancy Barton, via her sister marrying into the Galloway family of KY but this has not been proven. Any information on Nancy Barton would be greatly appreciated.
