This is a real long shot. I have a great grandfather, wife unknown. He had, at least two sons: 1) my grandfather John James Barton, born Nov 5, 1855 in Milwaukee, WI; 2) Patrick, buried in Risng Sun WI. My granfather married Ellen Melvin in Risng Sun WI, 31 May 1880. They had 8 chikdren and eventually (1889) settled in Fort Dodge, Iowa. I'm not a gambler, but sometimes I hear that long shots do pay off. Barton Toohey
