Hi Jean...... Glad to see some NJ Bartons on that list. I have a mystery "Barton"......James Barton married Mary Archer on 26 Jan 1756 at Christ Church, Philadelphia, Pa. Their daughter, Sarah, married Peter Longacre, my 4th great grand aunt and uncle. But I've been trying to find out about James for quite awhile, and only recently do I think he came from NJ....or his family name was originally "Borton".....Have you come across any of these names? Thanks for your time. Barbara Jean M. Berry wrote: > My Barton line is as follows: > > 1. Thomas Barton born in England married to Ann Borton born Oct 18, 1660 in Anyhoe, Northammpton, England > 2.
