VIRKUS has been repeatedly noted in respected genealogical literature as being very unreliable. The latest warning I could find was in the current issue of The American Genealogist. Is everything in Virkus wrong. NO. But anything in Virkus should be very carefully confirmed in primary records. Just as the Bible warns not to build a house on sand, don't plant you family tree upon Virkus. It just may wash away during the first big rain. Ted Holden
