Does anyone have information on the BARTONs who lived in Belmont Co, OH in the early 1800's? My grt grt grandmother, Barbra Ellen BARTON SWAIN b July 1847 stated that she and her parents (Dars? and Mary) were born in Ohio. Her death certificate says they were from Wheeling, which would be WV, but I think they were from the Ohio side of the river, as I can find no census records for them in WV. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Linda Douglas
