    3. I'm looking for help from BARTON interests in the USA..........and I may be able to add some value. William Henry BARTON was born in 1843 in Lacock, Wiltshire, England. He was there on 30 March 1851, described as aged 6, scholar. He is said to have married Kate CHAPMAN in 1863 in London though I've not checked that yet. I know nothing else about her. They are then supposed to have emigrated to the USA in the same year and to have settled in "Lyons". I don't know which one but Wayne County, NY seems the most likely. He came from a family which had farming, malting and brewing interests though his father was a grocer and baker - and later the church organist. They reportedly had six children of which only one survived into adulthood. She was Kate BARTON and, although she might have married (there seems to be some doubt), she did not have any children. William Henry died in 1901 and is said to have been buried in Oakland Cemetery - again, I don't know which one. Bergen County, NJ is not that far away but after nearly 40 years he could have gone anywhere! My interest in him is because he was the brother of my gr gr grandfather. I can trace his parents, his 4 grandparents and one pair of gr grandparents (we are back to about 1740 and my gr gr gr gr gr grandparents by then!). So, is there anyone who might be able to trace him? I seem to remember reading of some records made of burials at an Oakland cemetery but can't remember where I saw it! Can you point me to anything? And, if you have an interest in BARTONs in Wiltshire, England, I may have come across them - they certainly seemed very productive in the last century and, as a result, they were settled all over the area!
