According to what I've been told, my Bartons came from Patrick County, Virginia to Jackson County, Bloomfield Township,Ohio. By 1850, they are in Warrick County, Indiana - Ohio Township. There seem to be a lot of William Bartons. I don't see a connection at this time; but who knows. I will keep your information in case I run into anything. Take care and good hunting. Shirley.
