Hello everyone, Does anyone have any information on the Bartons who where in what became West Virginia during the late 1700s & early 1800s? I came upon references to land grants in Sim's Index for William Barton in Harrison & Daniel Barton Monongalia counties in the 1780s. Also a marriage record in Harrison County in 1808 for Thomas Barton to Sally Drummond. Also Levi Barton being listed as a witness on an 1805 deed in Wood County. Also Margaret Barton in 1830 Wood County Census. Anyone have any ideas who these people are? Thanks, Mark Moeser MMoeser237@aol.com
